Encoding of Data
The data is in CSV format and compressed using bzip2. The files are compressed roughly 80%.
The data is delimited using a comma (,) and all fields are encapsulated in double quotes ("). This means each value is separated by a comma (,), is surrounded by double quotes ("), and each entry is on its own line
The format is as follows:
- ID (unique value per state)
- Name
- Street Address
- City
- Zip
- Phone
- Fax
- Category 1
- Category 2
- Category 3
- Website URL
- Hours
- Time Added (timestamp)
- Time Last Updated (timestamp)
- Latitude
- Longitude
- Major Intersection
A sample entry from Alaska has this line:

Entries marked as 0 (in the case of 'Fax') or empty (in the case of 'Hours') means we do not have that value.

Deletion Lists
